My Sweet Valentines!

We were lucky enough to spend Valentine's Day with many of the people we love.  We went port tasting at Leal Vineyards, had a picnic lunch and then headed to the Melo's house for some pizza. Fun times!

Yowwzers!

I ate it on Saturday. HARD!  While getting some exercise at Racho San Antonio, I tripped over a rock.  And yes, did not not make it out injury free. Rather, I sprained my ankle, bruised my leg, and injured the pride I had gathered from such a great workout! UGH! (Picture taken 4 hours after fall)

Warm & Cozy

Our house is pretty cold.  Keith has freaked out over our +$400 PE&E bill.  So as Keith and I are warm and cozy under the blankets, poor Wyatt is freezing.  I decided the best remedy would be to get Wyatt a warm sweater.
As I browsed the isles of Petco, there were slim pickings for large dogs.  They had dog Snuggies, dog rain coats, but only one big dog sweatshirt.  I had Wyatt all dressed up to show off his new attire.  Of course, Keith was horrified when he came home to a dressed dog.  His excuse for removing the sweater was that Wyatt could possibly get stuck on something and choke himself. Hmmmm, interesting.  I am not normally one for dressing up animals, but he does look so cute and he is warm and cuddly.

Wyatt loves his sweater and did a little dog modeling for me today.

SEXY TIME

I got some new shoes! I am sharing because these shoes are not something I would normally buy.  For those who know me well, you know I usually wear sweats and walking shoes everyday.  One, because they are comfortable but also because I am lazy.  Walking in heals all day is hard, I mean it is like a constant calf workout- really why would I put myself through that.
I am going to try and change my ways- NOT EVERYDAY- but I am going to be little more sexy on days that I am somewhere other than work.  So, look out world, the new and improved, sexy shoe wearing Dorothy is being unleashed!

Keep Away

I have heard several stories about horrible solicitors coming to peoples doors.( Rob and Alyssa being the most recent.)  I have not experienced any negativity from people trying to sell me stuff.
However, I am kind of sick of answering the door when I get home, only to be fed a line of crap to try and get me to buy there blah blah blah.  I do not care if you want o go to Europe, maybe I want to go to Europe,  Get a job and pay for a damn ticket.
I was not really sure how I felt about NO SOLICITING signs.  I still want the cute Girl Scouts to come and the little kids down the street that sell lemons in the summer.  So how do you get rid of one kind but keep the other?  The answer is... go to Etsy, buy a supercute & friendly NO SOLICITING sign and then talk to your neighbors whose kids are Girl Scouts or whose kids come to sell you lemons. Tell them the sign is not for them.
Hopefully it will keep the 'bad' guys away, but they won't want to break my sign because it is too cute!
