Last month I was hesitant to give a baby update because I was so pissed that I was not prego! But I decided that blogging is good therapy, and I should stop worrying about the people who will judge me for sharing my most intimate baby details. So, when I get pregnant, and you find out before the customary 3 month "safety" period, you will get to go on the roller coaster ride of all the things that may include. And, I decided that was OK.
We are on month 3 of fertility drugs...FUN! Month 1 I did not ovulate, month 2 they double my medication (and added a few extra for good measure)- still no ovulation. We start month 3 with triple the meds in hopes of stimulating my ovaries. If I get pregnant this month EUREKA! If not, I will go on birth control for month 4 and then shock the ovaries with lots of meds in month 5. The idea is, let them rest a month then hit them full force.
So I am trying to take it one month at a time, if still I am not pregnant we move into a whole other level of drama. So, for now we will not go there.
Thank you for all the LOVE LECTURES on not stressing out and starting to eat better and not spending all my money on ovulation tests and pregnancy tests throughout the month. I am working on not being such a spaz!
OMG I love your picture!LOL. Awesome. I also love the updates and love that you are so open about everything - no pun intended! :) I hope this is your month!
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed...thanks for sharing your updates!
ReplyDeleteLet's get something straight--I never LECTURE, my conversations with you contain ORDERS! No more peeing on sticks, any kind, 'kay?
ReplyDeleteGood luck this month. By the way, your ovaries are pissing me off, too!
the last thing i expected when i checked this blog was to see a diagram of the female reproductive organs staring back at me.

Sorry Robbie, I did not mean to tramatize you. Alyssa liked it. Just think of my blog as place to learn...haha
ReplyDeleteIs that a picture of YOUR ovaries, Dorothy? (J/K) - I think it's great you are sharing your journey and you are right - it is super-duper therapeutic to write about it. Just keep on bloggin' kiddo and I hope this is your month...no lectures from me 'cause I think you've got that covered - the 'girlfrien's' are 150% correct :)
ReplyDeleteYes, those are my ovaries. I use to be an ovarian model...that picture is a little dated. Haha ;>
