Pudding Pop Update!

First, I made the cook n' serve pudding, poured it into the Popsicle molds and froze it overnight. They looked really good in the freezer and I was very excited to see how they turned out.

They were very difficult to get out of the molds and I ended up breaking the blue one :<.

When I finally got it out, I was excited at the outer ice on the pop. However, I quickly discovered that it was NOT the icy coating we have all grown to love. To my disappointment, it did not taste like a pudding pop. It was just icy frozen pudding, not creamy, not delicious. Oh well, back to the drawing board!

  1. LOL - you are so funny. Jen was talking to me about this and her hopes were set very high on your experiment. Maybe mix pudding mix with a little bit of ice cream, then freeze?

  2. Can you hear me sighing, did you really think it was gonna come out like the original?

Doug wants me to tell you that it doesn't even look like one.

  3. Alyssa is right--I had high hopes for your pudding pops! What a bummer.
