What the Pho?
The rainy, cold weather (and the fact I am not allowed to use the heater in my own house because the bill was too high (according to Keith)) Keith and I have been on a ramen and pho binge. We found a new tiny place, in an out of the way shopping center, that serves up some of this yummy warm soup. So, on Monday we decided we would try and make this delicious meal. We gathered all the ingredients, which I might add, are not all that appetizing and headed home.
The recpie called for a good amount of prep and 6 hours of a simmering broth. So, I went to it last night and started the process. The broth turned out yummy! Today we will add the meat, noodles and maybe some egg (my new favorite) mushrooms and green onions. The recpe is long and the following link has great pictures, so I am going to direct you the experts.
Have PHOn!

Ridiculous or Hilarious?
My husband may be seen on the next post on peopleofwalmart.com.
Keith and Brian went duck hunting, and this was the gear. Can you see him?
Blessings
I love picture Christmas cards. Last year I decided to start saving my picture Christmas cards in a scrapbook. Nothing fancy, I just write the year and glue them in. It was fun this year to see how much kids grew and how families expanded. It also makes a great coffee table book.

Oh Tannenbaum, and I do not mean Alyssa.
We took our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm. This year Keith and Anthony were busy with other things so it was just the four of us. My Mom led me and Julie to the very back of the lot and proceeded to analyse the trees. Julie and I decided there were no good ones and we wanted to scope out another place. In the mean time, my Dad was loading the tree in the truck...the tree and he and my Mom had picked out the day before. SIGH...she tricked us! We had a fun time anyway!
