Sweet, Sweet Puddin'

I have never been a big fan of pudding. But, a couple of months ago I decided to make some instant cream cheese pudding. I had some cookies and rasberies and thought this would make a scrumptious dessert. I was wrong. I really think instant pudding is gross!
So, the other day Melissa asked me if I remembered Pudding Pops. DO I REMEMBER PUDDING POPS? UM...YES they are sooo Yummy! So I was thinking about why I hate instant pudding but love pudding pops.
I got a wild hair and decided that I would make cook and serve pudding. Warm, creamy chocolate fudge pudding is as delicious as a pudding pop. So, my next project, is to freeze it and try to make pudding pops. I AM BRINGING BACK THE PUDDIN'!
Note to all: Cook and Serve Pudding NOT Instant Pudding

Another one bites the dust!

Please pray for the birds that live behind our house. It seems as if a few of them are on a suicide mission. Yesterday, while Keith and I were at work ANOTHER bird (or maybe the same one, who knows.) flew into our window AGAIN. No bird bodies have been found, I cannot imagine that Wyatt would eat any bird bodies as he is a very picky eater and does not like feathers. So, let's hope that this is the last of the bird prints on the window!

(Second bird body print is visible on the upper right of the existing bird print - wings are hard to see, as it was not very sunny when I took the picture.)

I just had to add a picture of Wyatt to show you how innocent looking he is and how he could never hurt a little pigeon. hehe

Stained Glass?

Keith and I were surprised to find that our family room window had a new lovely look. It seems that a large, not so smart bird, had a run in with our window. When the sun shines through you can perfectly see the outline of his (I assume it was a male...because, well, you know) head, body and wings. This window is NOT easy to get to and will not be cleaned for a while, as we need to hire someone to do it. Keith was very excited at he prospect that dirt would start accumulating on the grease, guts, & grossness and soon it would be a well defined bird print. I, of course, am not at all excited about this. However, I am curious to see what happens. Whether it will go away or get worse. I will keep you posted.

Dorothy Day (Observed at 370 Carlyn Ave)

Today I had two appointments and decided it would be a waste of gas and time to drive to San Juan for a couple of hours. So, today was Dorothy Day! I had big plans to do laundry and straighten up the house. I am sure you can guess how this turns out...(see above picture)

Plumber came in the AM to try and fix the fireplace, no luck. After they left I decided that I would just snuggle in bed for a few minutes and get to doing the laundry. I fell asleep, so about 1:30PM, when I finally woke up, I caught up on all the TIVOed shows that needed watching. I showered at some point, and headed out for my 5:00 dinner date with Mrs. M. I even went shopping and bought 2 - yes 2- books to read. (Melissa it is true! Do not make any smart ass comments about it-LOL) I will let you know how they are...and pass them on if anyone is interested!

This was a spoiled and indulgent day - and I LOVED it! (Do I feel a little guilty bailing on work?...Yes. But I will get over it)
I encourage you all to make yourself a ME holiday - it is AWESOME! Or just start celebrating 3/18 as Dorothy Day!

Baby Update...Stubborn Ovaries...

Last month I was hesitant to give a baby update because I was so pissed that I was not prego! But I decided that blogging is good therapy, and I should stop worrying about the people who will judge me for sharing my most intimate baby details. So, when I get pregnant, and you find out before the customary 3 month "safety" period, you will get to go on the roller coaster ride of all the things that may include. And, I decided that was OK.

We are on month 3 of fertility drugs...FUN! Month 1 I did not ovulate, month 2 they double my medication (and added a few extra for good measure)- still no ovulation. We start month 3 with triple the meds in hopes of stimulating my ovaries. If I get pregnant this month EUREKA! If not, I will go on birth control for month 4 and then shock the ovaries with lots of meds in month 5. The idea is, let them rest a month then hit them full force.

So I am trying to take it one month at a time, if still I am not pregnant we move into a whole other level of drama. So, for now we will not go there.

Thank you for all the LOVE LECTURES on not stressing out and starting to eat better and not spending all my money on ovulation tests and pregnancy tests throughout the month. I am working on not being such a spaz!

When the heater is just too much $$$.

When the heater just isn't providing enough warmth, you'll need to bust out the winter clothing or this full body sweater.

Keith sent me this post, he said this would be perfect for me since I am always cold. I told him he was wrong because my feet would freeze. But it is pretty funny.

YYYAAAWWWNNNNNNN...

I am so TIRED this week, I do not know what to do with myself. I have nothing good to blog about, just complaints...so instead, I found this funny picture that pretty much describes how I feel!

Have a good weekend! (I will be sleeping ;0)
